Arena comps

Hey guys,

I know that we are all quite busy playing arenas, but actually I'm at work and I only have access to forums so I wanted to ask you about your arena comps. Who do you play 2s or 3s with? I believe we are all more in testing phase than playing for real and I will appreciate sharing your view.

I'm destruction warlock, tried to play with enh shaman, but their survivability is just too low to play double dps it seems.

I also did several arenas with resto druid and it was increadibly fun. Games based on cc in 100%

In 3s I did some games with mw monk and enh shaman, but there are too many ****ers wintrading and giving us empty ques which is extremely annoying. I think people got so excited with arenas they are all just focusing on 2s. 3s should get more popular in next few days I guess, then I will prolly be back to it.

Anyway I will be probably back to play with some other dps in 2s as 20 minute games resulting in draws are not that cool, and double dps comp has almost always really quick games. I guess I will try playing with rogue or frost dk next.


So, how about you? What you consider the best comp for yourself in 2s and 3s?

2s most op comp: Healer Monk and warrior.
3s Best healer I think resto druid (monk will do great aswell) and then I think warrior + rogue/warlock will be hell :D

I was thinking about resto druids in 3s, but it seems like switching targets screws them up too much. I think that resto shaman or mw monk will do good in 3s, not sure about priest, but holy shouldn't be bad either.

I'm playing mw monk, ele shammy, affli lock. Works great. Only lost 2 out of 40-45 games.

Is this the official arena season if not when will that start. I was helping a warr cap yesterday so my 2s rating isn't as good as I would like it to be.

So far anything with a warr in it works, faced a warr/warr/resto comp today in 3s and they just dismantled us with double skillstorm, well our 3rd guy dced but wouldnt matter much, anyways we qued just to check with no communication at all, played some 2s as ret/hunter and we managed to easily beat the facing teams. I would say that the best comp atm would be FrostDK/Warr/MW or a standard WLS. As for 2s, best choice for a healer is MW by far, as for double dps, much teamwork, because if one of the opposite guys dont fall on the first burst you're pretty much screwed. From my point of view, arenas arent enjoyable in this state of bugs as it is now.

didn´t play 2s so far but played a lot of 3s as lsd (affli lock/ ele sham/ Rdruid) and thunder cleave so ele sham resto druid and arms war :) it works like charm

Yeah but with the ele shaman switching and dots rolling it has always been a good comp. Op even,

For 3s I predict shamans will be very good for now because shamans always been counter to warlocks in arena and since there are so much warlocks and they benefit the most from lower PvP gear level and standard base resilience(longer fights).
It will be hard for RMx style comps right now because of lower gear and base resilience. When we will get Prideful gear RMx will just kill people in cheap or deep.
