Ironically, a sole verse from a rap song sums up our generation. They use "swag" to look good, do bad in the background and such. A majority, do bad and at times I wonder where we are headed :L

The only thing that kind of disturbs me is that I can not figure out was it done because they wanted to make a certain point, or just because.
But my hopes are that its the first and to me, their point does make sense.

That's because some, not all, within our generation are just... I cannot find a better word to describe, stupid, *****ic. Some think they are the best just because they got the hottest girl, the nicest gear and gadgets, and we cannot forget tippie toeing in jordans either. Others like to show off, I remember when I was a noob at the gym, some guy, I think he was 17, tried to lift heavy weight to show off, where is he now? wheelchair bound, stupid stuff :L

Peeps like that follow the crowd, and do what they do, some find positive, others find negativity and get screwed over big time.

The end result, our generation is taught to live as we are do die tomorrow/get money or die trying. My father is from Germany, his quote to me to you is to always be careful, you are never safe around some people or place, in other words be vigilant for you dunno what to expect outside the house and not let punks/corrupts mess you up or screw you over.

About 15 of us, even more would gather and hit Hide n' seek, football, soccer... and lots of other games :Q
I agree, yet I cannot blame any kind of media at all.

I remember when I was a kid, everyone form my elementary school talking about how their parents forbid them to watch horror movies/shooting games or any other vulgar killing involved cartoons( yeah South park hah) and stuff like that, staying up late, having to report everything, come home early etc due to ''bad influence form TV's/environment''.
Everyone was blaming violent games/movies hell even Television itself. What about parents? ''The most crucial example''.
I always asked myself why? Who is so stupid to be so badly influenced by violent TV shows/movies/games or any kind of a media?

I have never had anything like that. I could always do w/e I wanted, watch anything do anything stay as long as I wanted, because of two simple reasons. Respect and Trust.

I come from a hard working familly and since I was little I was told that these are the two things that I HAD to earn to be the ''King of my own childhood''.
What did that mean? Basically, I had no restrictions whatsoever, there was no need for it. How could that, any social media or w/e change?
Note: after kids hit 13+ its gonnna get hard to change anything. You CAN still try and succeed. Tho after 16+ its too late. By then, 95% of the behaviour is already decided.

Long story short: Bad parenting. There are no excuses for it. Not even poverty nor richness or sickness. There is no vaild argument against that, only excuses.
