I'm finding it difficult to find any information other than "we got hacked". I'm not mad or anything im just confused... You lost your database, so everyone has to start from scratch. To me as a $10 donator, this is a good thing... it brings life back into the server because everybody is working for their gear again. But why is everything so buggy? (WOTLK)
Was the database the only thing lost? It seems like there was a huge rollback on bugfixes and scripting. Every single 5 man dungeon I have done so far has been bugged to ****, highly exploitable, nonscripted and some unable to even complete.
Maybe I'm wrong but i could have sworn Molten was WAY less buggy than this...
On the bright side the new bug tracker looks to be a step in the right direction. I just hope that in the near future we can run "blizzlike" 5man dungeons... I'm worried to even see how buggy and exploitable the 10 and 25man dungeons are. Not to mention all the class skill issues?
TL:DR - Was there a loss in code in the "Moltdown"? I feel like its a wayy buggier and less scripted than it was... Maybe im just remembering retail...

Ahh thanks! Idk why I didn't Google it... Seems Molten/Warmane is in much better hands now! Hopefully there aren't any other Rogues in stealth ready to backstab!

With regards to the bugs.. I believe they are fixing key elements of the core, which will in the long run improve the quality of the scripts.. This could for example be a pathing system for NPCs and Pets..
I know they have mentioned core elements getting a rewamp recently, this might be what causes the issues your are experiencing.
Be patient, recently they have been releasing a lot of fixes.. :)

They moved it to another site on a huge description of how it went down and proof of such. And didn't want it here so they could move forward easier.
