How to download when a certain messge appears.

I am trying to download the client to MoP and I am having issues. I used the alternative link to do so and when I try to run it, this message appears:

Data\enUS\locale-enUS.MPQ: Cannot stream required archive data. Please check your internet connection.
My computer is a HP Touchsmart with Windows 8. I have asked many people and I am not sure what else to do, I miss my WoW. What can I do, and how do I do it?
