1. Hit rating and new update

    I assume this applies to hunter too, right??
    "Melee hit rating has been corrected and is now capped at 8% report #188"
    TY for info xd

  2. new update fixed glyph of stampede, but stampede doesnt work omg!

  3. I have tested the meele hit on feral druid, works perfectly now, I assume, same for hunters.

  4. Have you guys noticed hunters are ranged?

  5. Have you guys noticed hunters are ranged?
    Agree 1+++

  6. Have you guys noticed hunters are ranged?
    Have you noticed Hunters have virtually always shared melee hit cap, because they aren't casters?

  7. Ran a test where I left my hunter auto-attacking the level 83 Heroic Training Dummy for a few hours (got the damn thing to 15% hp).

    Ran with 6.01% hit from gear, 2 talent points in Focused Aim, adding up to 8.01%. 3004 auto-attacks and 357 Wild Quiver procs later, no misses were observed.

    If the hunter hit cap has indeed been fixed (and it probably has), this likely also means the VDW 25-man heroic ring is now BiS over the RS 25-man heroic one.

    Update: Ran a 2nd test. This time with 6.01% hit from gear, and only 1 talent point in Focused Aim, adding up to a total of 7.01%, or nearly 1% below the hypothesized 8% hit cap. 3004 auto-attacks and 311 Wild Quivers later, a miss rate of almost exactly 1% was observed, confirming that 8% is the new (and correct) hit cap for hunters, which is the assumption I think is safe to run with unless someone can produce evidence suggesting otherwise.

    No, there is specifically melee hit rating and there is ranged hit rating.

  9. No, there is specifically melee hit rating and there is ranged hit rating.
    Yes, and the caps for both have always been the same, hence why "melee hit cap" is used interchangeably with "hunter hit cap", and why hunter hit cap was bugged when the melee hit cap was, and is now apparently fixed when they also fixed the melee one.

    Exactly, and thanks for the confirmation too.
