1. So you ever wondered why rogue dmg is broken? (+ other classes)

The easy answere to this mandatory question is as following:
Poisons still don't double dip with %-based dmg increasing buffs, AS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO. (and other things too, like Scourge Strike for Unholy DK and Blood Presence)

    Proof:

    - Scroll down to reply number 10 from the top.
    - So this is posted in des 2009 aka. retail WotLK

    - Some double dipping was fixed during retail 3.1.0 patch (go read patch notes here: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/Patch_3.1.0 ) But rogues were never affected of this.

Btw. I got more proof regarding other things that are suppose to double dip - like :
    http://sulfuron.warsforum.com/t17-el...ribution-wotlk (Ctrl+f : "Double dip")
    http://forums.elitistjerks.com/topic...g-of-anything/ (Ctrl+f : "Double dip")

What Im provoking here is to search help from the community on gathering more proof of this phenomena to eventually make a bugtracker post that can cover it (all).

  2. Yeah, I 100% recall that certain mechanics double-dipped in retail (that don't here on Warmane). Specifically, I remember going through several Elitist Jerks that explained with reference to various WoL parses that mechanics like Ignite, Deep Wounds, Piercing Shots, would benefit from damage-modifying auras twice, once indirectly from the abilities that procced them, and then again directly to the talents themselves. I've tried to dredge up those posts but haven't looked hard enough to have any luck yet.

  3. So.. (just need to get my head around this) you're saying that, in our current state of wotlk, a rogue with 3/3 in vile poisons and buffed with hunger for blood will have their poison damage increased by x1.25.
But it should increase their damage by x1.20 x1.05?

This is what double dipping is right? If not could you give an example/explain how it works with rogue's poisons.
    Thanks.
