Problem with chat box

So, I logged on today, and noticed that the launcher I'm using (it's the streaming client) had reset some of my settings in the interface. I changed them back, and began to notice a problem with my chat box. For whatever reason, whispers, /say , /yell , g-chat and pretty much every other type of text will not appear when I type it in, and presumably when other people say things. Not only that, but when I type /1 , /2, etc to join a channel, it doesn't do anything, it just makes a space after I press space. However, things like achievements that my guildmates earn, as well as rep gain, still appear when they're supposed to. Also, bubbles still appear when people say things, but nothing appears in the chat box.

I've searched through my settings, and found nothing that could be affecting this. Am I missing something? Is this a server-wide issue, or just me? Help?

Okay, so just updating, in case someone does in fact comes across this:

I've deleted the Cache folder numerous times, and it doesn't solve the problem. I even went so far as to delete the Cache folder, switch realms to my local private hosted repack, where the chat log worked just fine, and then back to Warmane, where it STILL has the exact same issue. For some reason, I can now see text in /1 LFG and input text there, but that's it.

Please, if anyone knows what's going on with this, let me know, it's really starting to break the game for me.

Go to chat settings and press Chat Defaults.
