Technical The game 'reset itself' every time I open it

I downloaded the MoP version from the torrent, and everytime I open the game I get the first disclaimers and everything, and also all the options are set again to default so I have to put everything again everytime I enter the game.

Also, I can't set the language to Spanish. Is there a solution to this problem or should I download the version that comes in installer form?

Make sure the folder isn't in 'Read Only' mode.
