WotLK Which class is stronger?

So, this new Lordaeron realm attracted me. While waiting for it, I'd like to ask the following question:

Which class is stronger in pvp (on wotlk, if the title prefix wasn't enough): Mage or Lock?

I do not mean in a 1v1 situation. I mean in general. Which class will be better?

Frost Mages for everything pvp.

Can't say for PvE, been too long, but pretty sure Fire is better than all Warlock specs for raiding too...

If you compare retail charts.... The rogues were usually the top in DPS in ICC 25 HC... You can prob find charts online but that's all i know.... I just love warriors cause they are ****ing amazing in PVP and PVE.

on PvE side:

Pure Fire mage in Icecrown Citadel content are very strong, been playing myself one, therefor the newly opening server Lordaeron will not start with Icecrown but releasing continuously. Before we hit that content, you as mage will have to play Arcane which is not top dps at that time.

On PvP side:

Frost is always a best choice regarding it is battlegrounds or arenas.
