1. Warlock imp does not give kill credit to owner

    Hi guys,

I discovered a strange bug with warlock imp (might be other pets too).

Until the caster does not attack the target, the target of the imp is free for all, this makes mob tagging impossible for instance. Also makes the warlock to lose loot and xp if the mob is not attacked by himself, but only by the pet.

thank you, sorry if I opened it to the wrong place.

  2. Its been like this forever. Every pet is causing this problem, I guess it is a bug, can`t remember how it worked on retail.

  3. When the pet is set to aggressive, is this not how it's supposed to be? Also, if the pet only attacks the target, you aren't supposed to get credit XP, that's how Wrath retail was like.

  4. No it´s not set on aggressive, simply defensive. The pet belongs to the caster, I can´t see a valid point for not giving him a kill credit really. You command the pet to attack, ofc in order to build up some aggro. I never experienced anything like no kill credit for that.

edit: I see now on the official forums that this is implemented in order to avoid exploiting... http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/to...7433943?page=2 so it is not a bug, just a plain stupid implementation. The topic can be deleted.
