Im really exited about the server but i dont understand the: 17,042 characters eligible for restoration.. ?

anyone have a good explaination on that so i can understand it ?:)

That's just for the people who downloaded the back-up off the website... Those 17k eligible characters for restoration are for them. ^^

You missunderstood, thats a separate news, lordaeron will not be full of 80's and geared once its launches.

They added a feature which allows you to make a copy of all your characters on a back-up storage system, it has nothing to do with the old characters, it's just a way to say "It won't happen again" regarding the accident which took place in January, this year.
