I know, that this question was asked many times already, various answers have been given, but I couldn't find any reliable one from staff member, so let me ask again.
Will you release prideful gear in next Season?
I guess that I don't need to explain the basics of this operation to Warmane staff, but some PvE people may not be quite aware how it actually works.
We have had Grevious gear for so long, that I have full gear, spare gear just in case and 30k conquest points on my main. If Prideful gear is not gonna get released and we will have Grevious still, it will be 3 months (at least) more until the next season as only then releasing new gear would actually make sense.
First boss of SoO was released without loot weeks ago, perhaps until now some more bosses are scripted and we could get few bosses in SoO and prideful come out next week.
I don't even want to hear people saying we didn't get ToT HC on the way, because we are missing like 60% of the previous content and we moved on anyway. I'm not an expert in MoP PvE, but I think as for now only heroic mop raid is MSV. Devs would have to script ToES and HoF heroic before releasing ToT heroic using your logic. With current pace of progress that is done it would take not months but years to complete.
I guess that mine post or any other cannot really affect the decision that I believe is already made, but we would really like to know what it actually is. What is the plan for next content release?

Short answer: No
Long answer: Look for a staff respond for it... It's said somewhere that it will not be Prideful next season. As for the rest of your concerns... Look or ask/pm for a staff respons. Prideful is coming with SOO (which is no way near compelte i believe?) Besides TOT HC is more important then SOO in my opinion cause simply it's SO MUCH more in heroic mode then normal.

I have seen you writing the same things about 5 times on forums so far. I have been looking for staff answering this question before making this thread and i couldn't find any. If you know about a firm answer given by staff member just give me link instead of telling me to search more for it.

And just for your information. Grevious elite gear vendors are spawned right now and the same happened with tyrannical gear one week before grevious was released.

So I thought it was pretty clear that Prideful was gonna be released when SOO comes it's logical... EVERYONE knows about it cause people have been asking it for WEEKS haha! I wish people actually searched propelly without making threads like this cause we seen them A LOT haha trust me! II play both pve and pvp, this is my neutral opionion on this matters.
Prideful is just an upgrade to the current gear. It is NOT content, it is an upgrade. I dont think it is different from Grievious, besides you killing people faster or motivate people to farm for it. Plus, consider the buff stacking and some class one shot people ( which we cant identify the bugs yet), Prideful is PVP nightmare, when people can die in 4 to 5 sec. QQ incoming in the forum
For this reason, it is not mandatory to rush it, while staffs should add more BGs which i consider as actual contents
Secondly, Prideful is 550ilv. the highest Normal TOT raid gear is 530 which are an upgraded ones. Thus, you will see a swarm of bad raider and good raider wear PVP gear to raid. Simple math 550>530. More stat more dps. PVE players nightmare
Side effect will be on both side, which are all the bad. Thats why, warmane said about delay the release the gear. MORE BGs, and Bring back Pet battle :>Edited: September 15, 2015

I fully realize that prideful is coming out with SoO, it's not a satisfying answer though. In other words I could ask if SoO is scripted good enough to release at least part of it, like ToT was being released boss after boss. Let me remind you, that first SoO boss was scripted and released about 2 months ago and we haven't been informed about any SoO progress except for the fact, that "devs are working on SoO".
It still hasn't been said, that SoO is coming or not coming out next week, Warmane does surprise us sometimes.
Just think about it that way: if we don't get SoO now with prideful gear, we will have to wait 3 more months for it. First SoO boss was released 2 months ago. Maybe it's better to give us whatever there is and focus devs work on further releasing SoO, as people will be getting pvp gear slowly as well (27k conquest points is required for full gear, which is 9 weeks with 3k cap).
IMO it's much better to open SoO if they have 3-5 bosses scripted and keep improving it than keeping us on grevious for 3 months more. With attitude that prideful gear will be released with SoO is actually fully scripted we won't get it in 3 months either, but we will have to wait 6 months...

To be honest it would be easier to script and tune the TOT HC bosses rather then opening a whole new raid but that's up to the devs to decide what is best but i for one bet that they will script TOT HC and IOT first before going SOO/Timeless.. SOO will take the time it will take... The slower dev time can be that most of the focus is Wrath/Lord now so that can also be a reason... Although it's a bad idea to open SOO cause that would ruin to actually do TOT HC when it's released. Also Immersus is in such a sad state at the moment... I don't want to see the rest of the bosses either if they release them like that... Then it's better to have TOT HC scripted while they release SOO as test bosses only. I'll say aprox 2-3 months for TOT HC and 6 months till SOO/Prideful (that's being generous) It might take longer tho. It all depends on Lordaeron really since it's taking most of the staff power to test/script that realm :)

like I said, what the different between Prideful and Grievious? More state..........
For pve player, SoO is like the end, TOT HC is a jouney to reach there. IF they release SoO now, those pve players will feel cheated. This is MSV HC, HF and TOES all over again, yeah, they ruined those tier when they rush Grievious and TOT.

1 of many topics about new pvp gear, and i still wonder why ppl want it ...
So i want to keep it short:
1. they have to upgrade at least to 5.4.7 (with that pach come some class changes and i dont rly know how much time it takes them to upgrade the servers to patch 5.4.7 from 5.4.2)
2. They have to script SoO , Lost isle,and other radis (which i dont know names cuz i am not doin pve in any way)
3. Whats the point of getting new gear? u will hit more and get healed more ,and a diffrent look,which no1 cares about cuz every1 is using transmogs....
If u are a pvp'er go top the ladder or at least try get some high rating,or get better... And pls stop makin such kind of topics , 1,8k mmr ...

people fail to understand that TOT HC can't be released before pridefull gear and SOO comes out because the gear would be avaiable not only in game but also on marketplace for coins (for obvious reasons) and that would kill fair pvp since the pve gear would be way much better then pvp gear

That makes no sense at all... Besides how many will be enable to do TOT HC and who would run around in FULL PVE gear in PVP? In PVP it's all about PVP power to be honest... So i fail to see your point really... TOT HC should come before SOO/Prideful that is most logical thing to do...

This. Once the pve-items get their scaling fixed in pvp, no problemas. But before that happens, every hardcore raider and the casual"-ish" donor will be a pvp-god. That is in no way a good thing for the "fun" effect.

Meh it's not the PVE items that's the problem really haha! There are much worse overscaling/bugs and what not to deal with :)

Makes sense because PVE gear have no downscale in PVP... but well what i said had 1 mistake in fact, they can release it without having negative impact in PVP if they fix the downscale...
But for your logic why would PVE ppl use PVP gear if pridefull got released first then SoO is released? Just because it does more dps right? and in the situation i described would happen the same thing because everyone want to deal the most damage possible with the gear available
