I hope people here dont get too hyped.
Remember what kind of state the servers were like right after the Molten Server Hijack incident? The lag was incredible and it was nearly impossible to log in for hours because of the massive influx of players trying to log in at the same time.
I fear Lordaeron might share the same fate...

Nah, most people who asked about the exact time just want to reserve their names ang log the f out, becuse the server will be too crowded and unplayble for the entire weekend ;p

Some people (myself included) find that to be the best part of a server launch. The utter Chaos. People screaming, crashes, lag, thet joyful mana wyrm kill you've been hunting for the past 10 minutes.

It's really an unique experience on a server and I've been there for every single realm launch so far (including the 2 cataclysm PTR's). Loved every moment.

It doesnt make sense tho, I understand people want to reserve their character name, and maybe just eager to play, but why are people in a rush? Even if you're the fastest person on the server to reach level 60 theres really nothing you can do. No realm first achievements, no raids possible for quite a bit of time. Nothing really to gain by being fast, you're just gonna be wasting time on the first day of Lordaeron cause quest mobs will be extinct...

But as you said it, it really is an unique experience to witness the zones being so populated, even if annoying, is still worth experiencing

No one said anything about rushing, on the previous lordaeron it took me 1 year to get to 80. It's just the low level madness.

Well I just get the impression that people are counting the minutes to the launch and want to be as prepared as possible, as if whoever reaches lvl 60 first gets some sort of reward :P
