    To add gem sockets with blacksmithing you will eventually learn a trade skill called socket bracer and socket gloves. You then take some strong fluxes and apply the sockets to your gloves and bracers. As for jewelcrafting, create some gems out of cardinal rubies or other gems and right click on your gear to put the gems in
