1. State of the server - your opinion?

Hello fellows! I'll start by saying that I'm a Cataclysm player, but as of late I've been getting more and more bored. After the ridiculous disappointment that was DS and a complete lack of motivation to progress through Firelands, I've been thinking more and more about moving to Pandaria. Mainly for the questing and lore experience, but also for the raids - I've seen many people praising ToT and SoO, and I'm very excited to try it out.

My main questions here are :

    - What is the general state of the server? How is the leveling, both the 1-85 and the 85-90? Bearable? Is there many bugged quests? Can you actually quest your way to 90, or should I prepare myself for mob grinding?

    - Class balance, bugs. I'm sure many of you know about the Ignite bug on our Cata realm (long story short - applying another Ignite while you have one on target doesn't replace it, but instead just stacks the damage. I've seen people pulling out 100k dps on bosses with no damage debuffs, like Echo of Tyrande). My question is - how many of such bugs are here? Spells/talents not working? What is the state of Hunter pets, do they work normally? Aggro and attack mobs as they should, and follow them once they leave meele?

    - How do you gear after being freshly capped? Rep grinds? 5mans? What are the options?

Big thanks for any answers :)

  2. NPC on Great Wall in Pandaria for gear.
One of the Shado Pan Camps for 85+ quests has an NPC also, with a different variation of gear.
There is another npc, I'd rather not reveal this one lol.

You CAN reach lvl 90 without grinding. If you have no lvl gear with +exp you need to stay a bit longer in Wotlk. 2 Cata Zones are 98% bugged.
on 85-90 just join 1 Dungeon and you have "near" 1lvl up ( with the 2dungeon quests you get at the start of the dungeon )

Pls go to the Bugtracker and see yourself. Some talents are not working ( Hi Priest, Monk, Dk and other ) Some classes have positive Bugs ( i dont tell wich to dont start the fight again here ) and some classes have nagative bugs, like shamans monks and many other.

    - How do you gear after being freshly capped? Rep grinds? 5mans? What are the options?
First buy a blue pvp set. 450ilvl ( costs around 1-5k Gold depend on class and seller ) ( you could also stay with your green gear and try to get some in 5mans, but this takes more time. Or join naked BGs..)
Klaxxi rep gives you also a 450 Weapon (DQ here) or you buy one from the AH for around 1-7k gold.
Then you can enter Rdf HC to get JP gear( 476) OR ( better! ) join Bgs to easy and fast get 496 Gear ( wich is better then the JP, also for PVE! )
Then you can use the Raidfinder Toes, and after that join the normal Raids.
If you want a good pve trinket you have to grind rep for shadowpan a. ( but it only takes 3 runs tot trash )
Do the Daily quests each day, they will give you around 5k gold and some CP each day.

If you have some gold you could also pay someone to push you some arena wins. ( if you do this you can buy your first 522 item right after you hit lvl 90 )

Big thanks for any answers :)

  4. General state- not good but not terrible, it's often very unstable and mods are relatively slow on fixing the stability issues but most of the time it's playable.
Leveling- bearable, there are many bugged quests but you can quest your way to 90. Most common advice is to stay in northrend until lvl 81-82, to make it a bit easier to reach lvl 84 cause 83 can be tricky.
Class balance- non existent, but if every class is unbalanced, then we're all balanced :D In short, playable if you know your class and use it to the fullest. Most of the spells are working (one way or another), few bugs here and there but all in all, okay. I'm a PvP player though so idk much about PvE classes.
Hunter pets- passive stance broken, the rest works okay, just make sure not to move attack and follow buttons from the action bar or you'll need a macro for them.
Gearing up- reputation grinds, gold grinds, profession gear, random dungeons, random raids.

  5. Huge thanks to all of you guys :) I'll give this server a try.

Also another question, though this might be kinda noobish...

How do I download the MoP client? The one on the Warmane site doesn't seem to work (after choosing xpac and OS the window just resets), will the "old" client do?

  6. - What is the general state of the server?
    Honestly, under the zero.
