For those trolls derailing Selaya's thread, here's one to discuss your complaint.

The 19, 29, 39, and 49 brackets are not the same in the way they operate as the 60 and 70 brackets.

On live servers since they changed BGS to 10-19, 20-29, and so on... lower level twink brackets have played at the higher level of the bracket. 60s played at 60 initially because if you didn't buy the Burning Crusade expansion you could play bgs without leveling. 70s became popular during the WOTLK expansion. Later in life, on retail people started playing 74s in 70 brackets some to get certain spells, etc... most 70s stayed 70 though.

In the lower brackets, it's always been customary to twink at the highest level possible for said bracket.

I'm flat out stating this,

19, 29, 39, 49 twinks are real twinks because, like Tbcwascool stated "anyone who locks their xp and stays a certain level is considered a twink." I could lock my xp at level 43 and now I'm a 43 twink, sure its not common but, nonetheless I would still be considered a twink. You don't usually see 20, 30 twinks, at least in wotlk, as often as you will see a 29 or 39 twink. I myself love the 39 bracket. Yes for 60s and 70s they're are people who go to 69 or 79 because either they got rejected from the 60 or 70 guilds ( I've seen this happen a lot) or they want to be *******s who can't kill 60 or 70 twinks. But there is also the reasoning that they may love 69 or 79 twinking, it may just their opinion that 69 or 79 twinking is fun. The point I'm making is you're opinion doesn't always changes the opinions of others. The only best way to solve this issue is have each server 69 and 79 and the other for 60 and 70, but again this is an opinion.

This would never happen, even if you convince most people to create 69s and 79s on lets say Ragnaros and the 60s and 70s would go either deathwing or Lordaeron, there will always be people who would think it'd be a cool idea to create a 79 on Ragnaros because of activity or just because some would feel good to have the level advantage in said bracket.
The ingame drama would theo go on forums, making more people want to roll a 79 just to get others mad.
I'd like to suggest you, Bossdeboss, to calm down, insulting 79s will only cause more bad than good, I used to be against 79s as well, but seeing you call them names and such, makes me want to roll a 79 just to **** with ya, I just don't have the energy to do so.

You do realize that the idea of twinking was to make the most powerful character within a certain bracket, right? Levels and items included. The reason that 60/70 twinks existed was that since you had to buy TBC/Wrath, most of those who didn't had the xpacs had to make due without it. When Wrath and TBC got in promotions and finally added to battle chest, the number of X0 twinks diminished, while the X9 twinks increased.

People kept 60/70 twinks more for tradition than anything. While the Warmane Twinking community tried to make this tradition the staple for it, thing is, Twinking will always be to make your character the stronger possible within that bracket.

Anedoctal. 69 and 79 should be the original twinking level, as any bracket before, but since people didn't had TBC or Wrath Xpac, they rolled a 60 twink, and tried to make due with that. When the battlechest came, they simply got too attached to their toons to level.

If YOUR experience was pure bull**** because of 79 twinks, tough luck. Get one yourself or L2P with a 70 twink. Welp, why am i getting baited i'll never know.
