[Lordaeron] Constant DC America late-night realm low period

Basically the title. I live in mid America and only at night when the realm is at a very low population I get CONSTANTLY dc'd from the game. It is NOT my connection since skype and the internet work fine, and other computers in my house can connect to the wifi perfectly. If it matters it seems to happen much more often on my gnome mage than any other character, but I still get massive lag spikes and often dc on my main as well.

Edit: This seems to only be happening on my gnome now, and a guildmate says he gets the same issue whenever he is on his gnome in the SW bank. This could be a gnome problem.

I am also having this problem. I get DC'd like every five minutes. It's not addons or my connection and I cannot thing of what would cause the DC's. My friends on Skype aren't getting DC'd just me. Any solutions?

It's not just NA. I'm experiencing the same and I'm from the EU. It happens mainly during the peak and late-night hours. (around 8-11PM ST). It's a very weird kind of disconnect too. It's certainly not my internet connection, because I dualbox and it only happens to one of the accounts. It starts with some sort of a 5-seconds lag spike, during which I can see other players moving and performing actions (unaffected by the spike), but I can't perform anything. After that I get disconnected and have to wait in a queue, because premium skip is disabled...
I think that the DCs are caused by the anti-DDOS protection, because their frequency increases during the peak hours and while the server is getting DDOSed.
