1. [A] <and the Seven Midgets> Hardcore PvP guild oriented on Rated BGs

    Hello everyone!
After several months struggle we have decided to form the first Alliance PvP guild that will be fully focused on playing Rated BGs. You may say that there were so many PvP guilds around, but was there any of them having rateds as priority? We are changing it just now.
I am leading probably the most powerful PvP guild on horde side - <and the Stealthed Rogues>. Right now I'm trying to make a mirror guild on alliance side, so all the players truely interested in playing Rateds would have a chance to do so every day.

I will give you some meaningful information about the guild

    Guild objectives
Our critical goal is to play rateds on daily basis. Many PvP players believe that rateds are the only truely exciting thing in PvP. Arenas are often repetitive and may become boring, not to mention ques, que dodging and such. Rateds give us the best part of PvP and they will be priority for the guild at all times.
Next in line could be world PvP, but it's not even worth mentioning it for now as it was always a replacement for rateds when we couldn't play those, which shouldn't happen again.
Premades are very regular, but they are also played from boredom than any needs.

Important part about arenas. We are not a guild where highly rated players can use guild chat instead of global for looking a partner. Everyone in guild got decent PvP experience, including arenas as well, but do not think you can join us just to use our members to play arenas with them. Obviously it's not forbidden, but you will be struggling really hard to find people interested in pushing arena ratings high again.

    Guild rules
I would rather invite people who can behave instead of writing some rules that will be needed to keep members play fair.
Shortly speaking about our rules though.
    1. Cheating or hacking in any form of PvP is an immediate kick from the guild and most likely a report, if we have any proof.
    2. Even though PvP may be very emotional sometimes we try to not insult people. No flaming or disrespectful behaviour (considers enemies as well) will ever be approved.
    3. Raidcall is absolutely essential, when playing rateds.

    Guild requirements
We don't have any strict requirements like 2200 rating in arenas or 520 ilvl. I don't believe it's the right way to judge people just looking at their numbers. Arena rating obviously may heavily reflect your skills and make it easier to prove you are decently experienced, but it's not going to be absolutely necessary. On the other hand no matter how high rating you have it's not going to be enough to get invited either.
Experience with rated battlegrounds is more than welcome. Being able to successfully call targets on raidcall or maybe even lead a battleground group is a huge advantage.
Most important thing though is your actual attitude. We don't want destructive players with 3000 ratings to join us just so they can rage at everyone around, because someone screwed something up. We are not just a PvP guild looking to assemble the best PvP players. We want to create a healthy and friendly community that will cooperate in rateds and outside of them.
For this reason everyone who wants to join is going through a sort of interview. I'm talking carefully with those, who want to play with us to avoid inviting unfriendly players. This kind of interview takes usually from 7-15 minutes, sometimes includes a test in form of 2v2 arena games or some duels.

    Guild ranks
Basic information about all the guild ranks:
Guild master - it's just me. I believe that my job is to develop the guild and make it better with every possibility. I'm not the best entertainer, if it comes to organizing events and telling jokes on guild chat, but I hold the entire guild in one piece solving any kind of problems. I do organize and lead rateds very often, which is worth mentioning too.
Officers - experienced and trusted members, who help to manage the guild in matter of recruitment, leading events, rateds, resolving issues inside and outside the guild.
Veteran - highly trusted members, who have also helped the guild to grow stronger.
Legionnaire - players with decent PvP experience, who proved themselves in rateds multiple times.
Duelist - is a very unique rank, that can be possesed by maximum of few people (based on the guild population). We will have 2 duelists at the start. Rules are fairly simple. To become a Duelist in the guild you have to win 2 out of 3 duels against a person, who already got the rank. Duels are done with selfbuffs and stuff usable in arena only. Duelist cannot refuse a challenge unless same person wants to challenge him again within 48 hours after losing 2 duels. This rank has brought a lot of fun for many people and I believe it will be even more desired here.
Member - those who proved they are worthy to stay in our guild after their trial. Becoming a member in the guild may take weeks for some. Generally it requries more work from a player than joinnig the guild itself.
Initiate - Carefully selected players, who are given a chance to become members of our guild in the future.

So what's the plan for now?
The guild was made on Monday evening. I have organized ranks, permissions and guild bank (that will be filled soon). We are starting heavy recruitment in the alliance. At the same time I will be organizing rated battlegrounds even filled with people from outside the guild until we get enough members. This way we will start playing rateds within few days and it will be kept up.

If you are interested in joining a serious PvP guild focused on rateds you can write me a PM on forums, write in the topic or contact me in game (my nick is Erratic there).
Also if you have any further questions regarding the guild feel free to ask them in this topic.
I don't want to hear any trolls saying crap about wintrading and such though. We are not going to wintrade, ever. The guild is being created to play fair and balanced rateds as often as it's possible.

    Regards
    Erratic (Rufus)
