Wotlk will not launch

I downloaded the client, run the Wow exe, goes to black screen, and the game forcibly minimizes. The client is running, I get no error message, but every time I try to click back into it it sends me right back to the desktop.

Any ideas? I have a feeling its related to resolution, when it starts to load my cursor looks like its low res, but without getting into the game I can't change any display settings....

yes, you can set the resolution without open the game, go in the WTF folder, there should be a file " Config.wtf ". open the file and somewhere you can find a line like this: SET gxResolution "1366x768" .
that is my resolution, you can change the number.
