Netherwing Drake Quest

My girlfriend (Xivanna) and I completed the quest line to get the netherwing drake mount. when it came time to pick which one we wanted I was able to pick one and it wouldnt let her pick one. I was wondering if there is a way to get it to work. And the quest counted as completed so it wont let her abandon and retake it.

If you 2 have completed the quest chain why not just buy them all anyway? Also would help if we knew which realm this is one
