Impressive. Very nice for your first time. Wish I could draw something, anything. My stuff looks like potatoes with too many roots growing out of them.
Thanks :) about getting good at drawing. I read good quote from popular artist (Michelangelo Buonarroti)
"if people knew how much i put hard work into learning to draw they wouldn't call me genius" which i understood as anyone can draw good as long as they keep on practicing and trying to improve. :) which is why i kept on drawing even thought my works aren't that great :)
Edited: September 1, 2015 Reason: added author of the quote
Woah. What Wacom tablet are you using? I remember when I first started using my Bamboo Wacom I had a lot of issues with precision so really really good start.
Thanks , i went trought trial and error until i got this so it's not that impressive :D i couldn't get nice brush strokes in my first attempt
I bought intuos , maybe i would've bought bamboo too since its my first tablet it's not worth investing too much but there was none only intuos :)
Eh, no need to start off with expensive tablets. Always good to start cheaper and work your way up as you feel necessary.
Meh just keep at it, make mark, look, make mark, look repeat ad infinitum.... or till it's done :)
The hotkeys+wheel and the proper use of 3D brushes are more than worth the price of an intuos, even if you feel bamboo has sufficient accuracy + pressure sensitivity.
I used to be "always start with cheap-mid range, upgrade later" but my attitude to that changed after bad experiences with mid-entry level midi keyboards, mixers and mountain bikes. I would only go for that level now if I fully researched the topic and saw there really is no reason to spend more in my case (e.g. NEX5R camera is all I will ever need, after I figured out you could setup the wheel to behave like another dial and thus control exposure and aperture without clicking extra buttons... though the 1/160 limit on flash sync and non-standard hotshoe (and a few other things) do irritate me at times.)
Extremely good. I hope that it won't be the first and last entry! :D
