Hello, I have been playing Molten (Warmane) for years and years, I have a question. I donated for gear on a character a little while back on one of my characters that I NEVER play anymore. I spent over 300 coins on that character that I don't play at all. I have literally donated thousands upon thousands of dollars to this server and I am just wondering if there would be some way for me to sell these coins/items or get rid of the character or something. I have supported molten for so long and I feel that I deserve a favor of somehow putting this character that I never play to good use.
I AM aware of the 24 hour item refund restriction.
If you're aware of the 24 hour item refund restriction than you already know the answer. regardless of how much you donated you won't get special treatment.
I would like to get an answer from staff, because that just seems really dumb to me. What is the harm in refunding coins past 24 hours? I honestly don't see a point in that. Especially since I don't play the character anymore, it literally takes 5 minutes to refund those items, and then it's done. It poses no harm to any of the community or the server at all.

It makes no difference in the process of item removal if the item is removed within 24 hours or later but that's not the point. You can not reuse coins if you no longer like the way you spent them. There was a suggestion to allow selling items back for lower price but it's not known if such feature will ever be implemented.
But that didn't answer my question, how does that harm anything related to the game? in fact it would benefit warmane for doing such a good deed that the person would continue to support warmane even more. It would make the buyer happy, happy customers = good business.
If you do not use that char and it doesn't make difference if it has gear or not then you are basically asking for free coins without losing anything you need. From their point of view you would get free coins without paying for it, which is potentially lost money since you might have bought them if you needed them. Of course it might benefit them in long term but that depends for each player. If they made an exception and refunded your items they would have to start doing it for everyone, which would mean both losing money from donations and spending more time on support tickets.
First off, it's not "free coins without paying for it" I am probably one of the top 10 players that has donated the most money for coins to molten, I have donated thousands and thousands of dollars, I don't try to sound egotistical when I say that, but I feel I have the right to ask for one SMALL favor that won't affect anybody at all. Shouldn't there be benefits for the top donators besides the ones that are already in place? It's such a small thing to ask of, I honestly don't see how it isn't even considered.
One of the main reasons would be is that if it did reach over 24 hours, you don't have a proof of you donating for that piece of item and therefore you cannot be refunded. I too have an item I would like to refund that I got as a consequence of me being mentally challenged. However, it seems like after 24 hours there are no traces of your item being donated so it cannot be proved if you did pay for it or got it in-game.
But maybe true, maybe a member of Staff could comment on this further, perhaps there could be a spark of hope towards the "Exalted" donators.
Actually, there is proof. If you log in on the warmane site, go to your account, click on view history, go to donations, and there you will see your total donations, my list is huge. Here's an example:

hmm lets see. player donates for a fully bis geared toon, plays it for a month. gets bored, hey Warmane, refund my **** so i can make a new class bis without paying you anything.

It doesn't harms anything in the game, but it harms our refund policy. We don't run a "try & buy" service. Refunds are actually for mis-buys, i.e., when you buy the wrong item by mistake or the same thing twice, cases like that. Support is already nice enough to often extend that to cases where people got an item and found out there was something better - within the time limit. What you're wanting is "I got all this, but after all this time changed my mind." If this is done to you, every other player who ever donated would have to be given the same exact thing.
"without paying you anything" you can't even begin to realize how much money I have donated to warmane in total, I deserve a small favor that doesn't harm anyone involved, it literally takes 5 minutes out of someone's day to refund a few items.
But don't you think there should be certain perks that the all time leading donators should get? there's literally no harm in refunding a few items, it would take a few minutes, and I HIGHLY doubt there are many players in my situation. I haven't seen a single thread with anything related to my post here.

Personal opinion? No, I don't think so. I believe in equal treatment. There's no listed or hinted at perk regarding getting special treatment, at a certain donation level or not. If there was, who knows, you might be seeing more threads related to this, instead of people simply owning up to their changes of mind.
It still is unclear to me why the staff is so stubborn on this, its probably the easiest 5 minutes of your life, refunding a few items, if you start receiving more tickets, then don't ever do it again. It's just silly. Don't you guys want HAPPY customers? this is just sad that this can't and won't be done.
