Obvious bot reported, no action 24 later

Greetings, yesterday i reported a character botting in azshara, very blatant, same route, killing the same mobs, circling with very simple rules and combat rotation.
My ticket got 'answered' = auto reply 'looking into it' from a random GM, never got to speak to him.

Now, 24h + has passed, he is still at the same spot, still killing the same mobs, nothing has happened.
Is this how things will go down here? Better start botting myself then.

thats hardly any proof of a bot. i farm the same route, back and forth and spam holy nova. im not a bot, its just how i can farm. seems like pretty fickle proof. did you try communicating with the player?

you can for sure tell if its a bot or not, just by how he walks, routes. like walking always in a straight line etc

If he isn't banned then he isn't a bot. As far as I know, GMs will whisper the player. If he answers back, clearly he isn't a bot.
I don't know how you can assume someone to be a bot by the way he is walking, but if you think it is a valid proof, you can record it and report appropriately.
