What happened to almost every realm having a queue?
What happened to low level world PvP (not as active at all any more)
Is Warmane on the brink of death?
What do you all think?

I haven't played wow in 1-2 months. Trust me wow ain't my life. But, I logged once on my 60 twink and i didn't see 1 lowbie. I'm pretty sure that they still haven't had a queue.
Changes happened, they introduced Lordaeron, a lot of ppl from other realms came there, it has 8k pop cap and its full on peak hours, so yea.
Queue's? At the end of molten-time the queue's were not even a thing anymore (except for mop maybe).
World PvP, on WotLK got killed by guards being over-powered (bug, or as obnoxious likes to call it: custom feature).
Warmane on the brink of death? nah, on the brink of new life with Lordaeron :)
They agreed they made it on purpose, and they refuse to undo it.
Anyway world pvp was not "killed by guards" because those guards are only in some select places.
I can only hope with the amazing success of Lordaeron that Warmane takes things to the next level. The things I've love to see, but don't have to be an absolute must are:
1. Vanilla/TBC servers (even if they are used with Lord Client of 3.3, just froozen at 60/70)
2. Maybe they'll do to MoP what they've done with WoTLk, this would be sooooo amazing!
3. and stay the hell away from WoD! Trash expansion does not deserve to be on Warmane.
There are so many great things that Warmane could invest some time and money into, so we'll just have to wait and see what they are willing to do in the future, but for now yeah, Lordaeron is the place to be. Cata's mostly dead and MoP is far to buggy for my taste. I truly do hope that the rest of you are having an amazing time on Lordaeron though.
P.S. Thank you Warmane for getting WoTLK/Lordaeron just right! :D
/hugs
Depends on how far in the past you want to delve into.
Moltdown.
It hit hard and for many players it was the final straw.
Non-donors tried to live with it, but with decreased interest.
So eventually people would drop to in-activeness. Some new players came in for the fresh start.
"The Ban Waves"
Active top guilds (in Ragnaros, I don't know the situation elsewhere) doing raids as they used to, but staff banned raiders for doing that.
Yes, basically "exploiting" a missing blizzlike boss mechanic. Aka RS Halion's self-healing while not engaged.
Throw in the smeld resses too.
Summer.
Already not so many logging after the great moltdown, summer times are slower.
People going on vacations and generally being more out during summer.
Misc.
Lordaeron hype draining players from other realms.
With more expansions (and Lordaeron), devs are focusing on newer expansions and Lordaeron.
Leaving Ragnaros and Deathwing in the shadow. (ie. Archavon still needs to be killed before Toravon)
More expansions scattering people -> people being in-active on their old realm(s) -> circling through realms and never staying for long.*
*Think it as skyrim. You make toon, level it to 40. Play other game(s) for a month or two. Go back to skyrim, don't feel like playing your previous toon (either u forgot how to play, dislike something about the save or w/e) and make a new toon.
Some of these things are positive and good things, but the way they were handled left some saltiness.
A1 Polpulation drained to Lorderon ... which seemingly has 8500 players atm.
A2 Most People leveled up.
A3 22k Players ATM. You say if it is on the brink of Death.
As you can see from previous answers our population has increased since we had released our Lordaeron realm (I highly recommend for you to check it out) as its a progressive leveling realm. A lot of players (from other realms) started playing it too, however, this did not result in a noticeable drop in population on them.
Our most populated realms are Wotlk ones while others still have a significant number of players (even when compared to other servers)
We are nowhere close to death, quite contrary we are on a brink of achieving our old population records.
Server gained people cos of winter time, it happens every year. Lordaeron has nothing to do with that. But if we continue like this we will end up with 10k people on lordaeron and 2k people on other realms in peak. And then you can only imagine the situation on spring time. Personally I don't see a reason to play anymore cos I can not play on realm with ultra bugs while there is good scripted realm, with different scripts. And that happens on same server. So I wont play until DW and Ragna get Lordaeron scripts. Please dont tell me that you will open raid by raid on WOTLK expansion at Lordaeron. So that implicates next question. Will DW/Ragna get Lordaeron script at the same time when WOTLK opens on Lordaeron? If answer is no, we are very disappointed.
The information is all over the place... however a bit harder to find is your answer: Core will come to rag and dw around ToC opening probably. Raids will be released progressivly. Anyway, there is a bright side to this: lordaeron gets the bugs, we get the core once it is almost fully completed.
