How do i collect points ?

when i click collect point it says , you do not have any points to collect....... i did play and than i tied still saying that.

to start to collect new "Points" you need to have at least 1 Character with 1000 Achievement Points.

I have a maxed character on mop , but i started playing lich king now.. so all expansions are different for the point system?

No, you need 1 000 achievement points it's collect through all expansions and toons.
You have a level 90 character, but does he have 1 000 achievement points?

how do i check? because i have not download mop yet have to re-download it, i must be ingame to check my achievements?
I have lich king right now and made my first character on it.
