And which of them can do the most dmg in the shortest time?
I mean builds like 100arp combat rogue,warrior or even hunter,feral,(dk ?)
Casters??
I know they fail in high lvl pvp,but they can be fun in bgs, duels

bis warrior can oneshot pretty much everyone
Retribution paladin has a high amount of burst. Protection warrior also works in PvP and you usually don't have to wear much resilience.
any ranged class will do but in my opinion mages and hunters are the best in that aspect as a full pve arcane mage if you use all cd's and you're free to cast you can pretty much kill everything in your surroundings
Arp and block-value capped prot warrior. Ignore defensive stats. Enjoy two-shotting full wrathful resto druids in treeform when you pop your cd's.
really hard to beat ret Burst check this out http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=157173
Yep, ret has almost always had strong burst. Especially Cata and going forward. The problem with it is that in order to compensate, Blizzard nerfed their sustain damage into the dirt. Rets suffer from other problems too. Which is why a properly played Ret will usually stay out of fights in rated pvp until it's time to nuke someone.
Prot warriors have everything a ret has on top of a gap closer, ability to peel, much stronger defensive capability. All at the cost of one drawback - Rets have group utility, warriors do not.
Cant believe none is mentioning Prot Paladin, in my opinion prot paladin is better than Ret in almost all situations, especially in early seasons if you are interested in Lordaeron. Prot Paladin is better when paired with Healer - same or I would say stronger burst + burst includes 3 sec silence, HoJ is on lower cooldown than Ret. Survive-ability is somewhat similar, Prots general tankiness, Ret have Art of War insta heals and better mana regen while recovering. Ret is superior when paired with only DPS, because of insta heals and friendly stun removal. MM/Ret/Healer however is good.
This thread is about PvP viability with lots of PvE items but Ret is not good with a lot PvE gear while Prot Pala is a lot better, PvE gear for Prot in PvP is essential.
Prot warrior also need a lot PvE gear to be competitive in PvP, more that Prot Pala. If prot warrior cant get revenge procs, their damage will be lower than Prot Paladin, I would say prot warrior is better vs melee, however prot pala have insane survive-ability vs melee, prot warrior have better mobility than prot pala, but pala have hard hitting range attack with 3 sec silence, where warrior will lack those revenge procs vs casters.
Rogue also can go full yolo and kill opponents in opener but down side is - if someone get you offguarded you will melt like a candle. + smart if smart ppl know you are PvE geared they will pop defensive cooldowns faster and 2 shoot you.
Hunter also could be good but only vs melee and if you are kiting king. You can try outrange casters but it happens only vs noobs.
Boomkins, Ele shamans and warlocks can work insanely good in BGs if you have peelers and healers around you.
Problem with melee is that u are usually the first one who gets attacked in BGs.
When u are completely pve geared as melee it can be very frustrating because u die in a matter of seconds when u are at the front.
I find pve geared rdps much more effective because u can just stay in ur pack and snipe enemys from the distance.
I think no other class can do as much dmg as a pve geared Moonkin. Spread ur dots and use starfall whenever its ready and u will constantly top the dmg charts.
When u have a decent amount of haste u can burst like a destro lock when u spam wrath and starfire.
i know that hunt have problem vs s priest but dont know vs other casters?
Prot pala is good but not nearly fun to play as war. Also in bg u can have mana problems and drinking a lotand thats boring.
No? Prot paladins have plea off cd constantly, a prot paladin should/will never be oom rofl
Kited or CC'ed until Divine Plea falls off.
boom.
Not to mention sizable downtime between fights in a BG.
Hunters counter any Mages as far as I know.
Ele should kill them especially if there is obstacle involved. Warlocks generally should kill hunters, Destro more likely than Affly, dont know about Demo. Boomkins only if obstacle is involved.
Shadow no questions.
Well yeah it is more like 50/50.
I agree that ranged classes will be more viable in pure PvE gear while in BGs vs coordinated teams. In arena, Prot war/pala, rogue, feral should be better.
It is fun to do BGs with Prots, but if those ele/warlock guys just target you and melt in seconds, because you are in front lines, it will be hard to enjoy those forever retreating games.
