Technical Download problem

Hi, I tried downloading the WotLK client 3 times now but I get the same problem everytime.

1. I launch the game with no problem.
2. It downloads the patch.
3. Then it tries launching battle.net and downloads WoD.
4. I let it download WoD once and got an error when I tried to launch the game.
5. The other times I didn't let it download WoD and still got errors.

Do not use the launcher as it will connect to the Blizzard servers and begin updating the client to the most recent (retail )patch. Instead, use the Wow.exe in your main WoW folder.

Ok so I downloaded the torrent again. ran WoW.exe, logged on then it required a patch and when I click ''restart'' it launches WoW-x.x.x.x-4.0.0.12911-Downloader. What should I do here?

Edit: found the problem, I just had to log in with my username and not with my email.
