Interested in twinking

What's the best/most active realm and bracket for twinking here these days? WotLK or Cata doesn't matter and not really interested in 10-19 specifically, any insight would be appreciated.

I believe nothing`s active right now (not even 19s, tho I`m not sure about Cata 19s), but the next best thing`s probably Ragnaros 39s. Might get active soonish.

60s on Rag probably have some activity going on, but Girm would probably elaborate on that more than I can. 70-79 Deathwing has some activity as well. Occasional battlegrounds (although usually one sided), and I believe some PvE activity on Alliance (carry raids and maybe a few twink-only raids).

Most balanced would be (imo) 39s. Most other brackets are dominated by one class or spec. If you do like want to try 39s, Sela and I are both Rag[A].

I'm going to try Lordaeron 39s, wasn't active yesterday when I tried, but I overleveled my character. Going to re-level a new one and try again.

There is no 70-79 it's only 70-70,but many things in our lives happens accidentaly same is with 79s,they exist by accident and blliizard fault :x sad... world isn't fair

Good idea. Most people are leveling their mains atm. Give it 2-3 weeks and you wont have any troubles getting games again.

Hey, twinking noob here, haven't twinked since Vanilla 05/06, what does it mean to get a level 30 twink ending in a "0" specifically instead of a "9" like 39?

I don't understand what people mean by this.

It means that for example if commumity of 30s plays bgs some scum bags called 39 will come and ruin their fun,just like on 70 happened with 79s,if you are intersting in twinking on ragnaros the 60s are getting active,same on lordaeron the 70s,but people enjoy boosting their ego and roll a higher char to ruin the real twinks.

From everything you've explained this is what I understand: 60's and 70's is more fun because that's where Blizzard balanced them out the most; 79's vs 70-78 is not balanced enough to be fun

You're wasting your time trying to get an intelligent answer from that guy, unless you consider "70 good 79 bad" a sufficient answer.

There isn't a single objective reason as to why 60/70s are more fun than 69/79s, because that is a purely subjective matter. 60v60 and 70v70 aren't the most balanced (see: Prot Warriors/Paladins at 60 for an example), and 60v69 or 70v79 are certainly not balanced due to hit issues, talent points, etc. Although stats do scale better at the lower end of a bracket, it usually won't make up for the large level difference.

The reason 60/70 is played over 69/79 is for a sense of legitimacy for raiding Vanilla/TBC content, and the fact that 60/70s started their communities first. Had it been the other around, a lot of the vitriol wouldn't be so prevalent.

TL;DR: it's not more fun, it's just preferences and the what was already established.

10s is has been active consecutively now thanks to healdots/spooks for orginazing and maintaining groups on both factions, to bring 10s back to life.

There is 70s too, which was revived by people like mythorac, stressful, panpolo and so forth, HOWEVER, you will have to settle for brutal set and the likes of available content which I've posted here: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....-various-stuff

70s will be hard for you because people like Red Panda, Kazzad, Mythirac, Kilamanjaro, Nanao and Stressful, etc are GRAND-FATHERED twinks who are OP as hell, be ready to pick the right faction when you go for 70s.

80s is active as well. Most people go 87 to 89 just to enter those fights. There is small groups that run 80-84 as well and are maintaining it as well.

I am working with others to bring to life other brackets such as 19s and 29s, but like the others, it will take time to revive, who knows, your twink may become like one of the famous twinks I've mentioned on this post.

10-19 bracket is coming back on Deathwing. We have a good amount of people helping revive 10-19 twinking. For anyone who has already made a low level toon on Deathwing, message me on here or whisper me in game, we are coming back strong.
