I'm leveling a blood dk right now and every freaking hunter i face kills me in under 20s. How the hell is this even possible? It takes them literally no effort for them to kill me and this isn't a case of "git gud", this is a case of something isn't working like its suppose to. I've played retail WoW since early TBC and I haven't seen hunters this ******ly OP since well I guess early TBC days when they had 30s of BW.
Someone please tell me this is broken and not working as intended!

Hunters are and has always been incredible in open world PvP. In BG's on the other hand, they're much less effective as they can't kite uninterrupted and their pet die much faster in PvP than on live servers.
Hunter has been one of my main classes since the first day of WoW and they were incredible already then, and with a few ups and downs they've always been good in open PvP due to the toolbox they possess in those situations. Besides, they're quite easy to "semi twink" while levelling as leatherworking is really, really simple to level up so they most likely got the upper hand gear-wise as well.

Okay but none of this really helps with what i'm experiencing. There's being good at wpvp and getting blown the freak up with in seconds of combat. I really haven't crossed paths with survival or MM hunters, so far just BM hunters and they don't even have to hit Beastial wrath, i'm nuked down in seconds without even having any chance to fight. In no way am i exaggerating this, the first time it happen i thought it was just a twink, but just recently i've had this new hunter (BM) and his pet seems to eat me alive before the hunter himself even has to do any damage to me.

It happens while leveling, classes are still not balanced, stats go up and down, some classes depend more on gear other just have pets or whatever. At max level if you are a better player than the enemy you will win no matter what class you play or he plays. It has always been like that. Use your grip, the chainz, or chain the pet and go for the hunter whatever, experiment yourself, from mistakes you will learn.

I replied you, they are NOT completly broken it's the low level balance. A hunter versus blood dk (I've never seen high potencial of blood spec in pvp), hunters will win no matter how good you are. Also you don't mention the server you're playing, hunters don't have the same bugs in WOTLK, Cata or MOP.

U should be major n**b or ungeared, because almost all hunters know that Blood Dk are cancer for them, and they have normally no chance against bloods.

full pve geared hunter with healer is the most overpowered combo in BGs.

depends on the realm, but i cant remember any positive bugs, so probably no, they are not broken, doesnt matter if you played on retail, if you are bad you aint gonna kill hunter, also you are not even max level..

So I'm guessing you entered one BG and saw some hunter rape everyone and made that conclusion.
Put a DK, spriest, lock and a hunter in a BG, they all know their class from A to Z, give them pocket heals and we'll see which class will top the dmg meter.

As a level 38 shaman, I can tell its ******ed for sure, 1 arcane shot and 1 auto attack and my shield from glyph of stoneclaw is gone completely, wanna hit 'em? FEIGN DEATH LOL, wanna heal? PET LOL, somehow slowed the pet and somehow you healed? K BRO I'LL JUST AUTO ATTACK that ALL OUT.
its pointless and as stated above classes ARE NOT balanced while leveling, at all.
In your case you use the pet to heal, you're a plate user no way he can outdamage what you heal from the pet, and once the pet is gone is a matter of knowing how to use death grip and chains and when to use icebound fortitude, i remember I had no isses at all, especially as a blood dk vs ... anything really, only bad thing is you can get kited by a good player, but in those cases find a pillar, or anything to hide behind.
But yes, they are broken at low lvls beyond belief, their auto attacks dealing 100'ish then they arcane shot and then the pet, urgh... Melee classes might have some sucess if they don't get kited...
