I was wondering, is it possible to copy all the Warmane files and client to a USB drive and then run it off the USB drive on a computer that doesn't have WoW on it? If I do this, will the computer itself create any temporary or permanent files to a folder, or will everything be contained within the USB drive?
I think they create few registry entries (~ not entirely sure), but they do not contain any confidential information.
The biggest downside I see in doing that is that generally pendrives are very slow, if you can manage to get a fast 3.0 one you should be good to go.
So, I got an external hard drive and it works really well, I already played it on one computer. But here is the issue, when I try to play it on a certain computer it acts like I am trying to access the battle.net account- it gives the classic unable to connect error (the one that would display if you put in your password wrong) Thing is, I know it is right. Could this be a firewall issue?

Yes, indeed. If it is the same client and no server issues are on-going, it is most likely to be the firewall (PC or router).
