WotLK Is rage generation by autoattacks normalized in wotlk?

I've played on mop for a while, new to wotlk; playing a warrior. Im not sure if weapon speeds and rage gen has been normalized yet.

Do autoattacks generate the same amount of rage per swing regardless of weapon speed?
so both, a 3.6 speed and 2.4 speed 2hander will give you 13 rage for each autoattack?

Or is rage gen normalized where faster weapons get lesser rage per swing?
so a 3.6 speed 2hander will give you 13 rage, 2.4 speed 2hander will give you 9 rage for each autoattack?

It's based on your weapon damage.

Rage generated is based on the amount of dmg your hit actually does as well as weapon speed (crits give +-double).

It was normalized with Cataclysm as a way to deal with the notorious problem which warriors have had through the ages - not enough rage when low-geared; too much rage when high-geared.
