Old player needs guidance

Decided to put myself again on the path of losing life.

Anyway, hi again guys, I've frequented a lot of your Warsong PVP server, but decided that I would want to start leveling and doing PvE concent again.

However, I have struggled with one thing, and do not understand why this is not addressed.


What is the ****ing difference between ALL THESE REALMS?

How do WOTLK servers (4 of them) differ?

It seriously baffles me that finding information for this is next to impossible. Can anyone please clarify?

Welcome back dude! :D I recently came back as well. Here's what I know about the servers (I might be off for some of them):

Lordaeron: x1 experience, the most blizzlike experience.

Deathwing (what I play on, no regrets, it's a great realm): x5 exp, personally I prefer this because I don't really have enough time for the suuuper slow leveling. It's not too fast but it's not too slow either, which is good. My only complaint is the community, it's fuuuull of pissbabies but I think if you filter out the dicks with nice people you can ignore it.

Ragnaros: x10 exp rates

and I'm actually not sure about Blackrock.

Ok let me clear this up for you.
Lordaeron: Completelx new core, x1 rates, no dungeon finder, progressive raid release
Deathwing, Ragnaros: Both are the same, x7 exp rates, everything released, old core, gets updated to new Lordaeron core #soon. All Raids will remain released.
Blackrock: Instant 80, PvP Server, i think you can even get gear quite easily, some more pvp features that are only on this one.
