My target unit frame disapeared. I would appreciate any suggestions...
With 5.4.8 it was ok at the beginning. About client - I just downloaded torrent files to the 5.4.2 folder, so it was like 5-6GB. Works fine (well, keybindings on "read only" but nevermind :D )
After some time i replaced my addon ArenaLive[UnitFrames] with UnitFramesImproved. It was all ok but the next day my target frame disapeared. I dont know if this occured because of fixes or an addon. I tried to SWITCH OFF addons and even with a standard blizzard frames it was still missing.
I used a command "/run PlayerFrame:SetUserPlaced(0) TargetFrame:SetUserPlaced(0) ReloadUI() " and it helped, but I have to do it after every relog and move a frame to the old place. Also it takes some time to reload UI, which is a bit problematic in preparation room.
I tried also to replace "layout-local.txt" in WTF folder with the old file and set it "read only". It helps, target frame is visible, but when I enter a bg/arena/instance/relog it moves to the place of player frame and I have to move it back every time.
Other frames (for example player frame) are working "correctly". They are ok, but any changes are never saved, even with "read only" unchecked in "layout-local.txt".
Any other options? Id like to avoid downloading next client.
rename your "interface" folder into " interfacebackup" and get a new "inteface" folder from here: https://www.warmane.com/download ( select " Mist of pandaria " )
At the beginning do not add your old Addons into thsi new folder
Thanks, it worked, even after adding all addons it was ok when relogging. But after changing the position of a target frame and a relog problem came back, identically.
I will try this once again but without that one addon with frames.
edit: ok, interface in fact doesnt really help, but wiping "layout-local.txt". Then it is ok but only without any bonus addons.
After copying addons (without that naughty one) problem is back everytime I move target unit frame and relog.
Maybe I will just try not to move it.... But I wonder what happens here.
