patch download required?

hi yesterday it was fine i could play fine, but this morning whenever i log in it statrst up the pathc required action but then once it downloads patch it still doesnt work, i have redownloaded the entire file from the website just waiting for it to downoad just wondered if anyone else experienced this or despite* the vague description, have advice

you have to log-in by using your Warmane AccountName, not Email address.
If your client has been automatically upgraded in someway then you have to re-download the client
