1. I hate the marketplace!

Why cant i use the 3 coins i got gifted for christmas to buy things off the marketplace? It tells me i dont have enough non traded coins to purchace the item. Does this mean i cant use the marketplace to make more coins simply because all the coins i get have to be used to purchace off the actual store which everyone on warmane finds at this point to be extremely overpriced other than mounts. I mean if i farm 200k and sell it to a person than dont i deserve to be able to purchase a onyx panther off the marketplace to make a little extra gold? I honestly just feel like this was a really greedy move on warmanes part making it so no matter what it seems like we HAVE to buy the coins from them in order to use them on the marketplace. and if u get coins on the marketplace you HAVE to use them on the store.

I really hope you guys have an answer for the marketplace cuz ever since the remake of it there has been nothing but let downs..........cant use coins except for certain things designated by warmane/ 20 days of collecting points for one tmog item when thats how long it takes to get full grievous/no more mounts/ no pets.............

Even though this post is mostly *****ing got to say the services like rename and faction change seem to be point wise

  2. see that's the funny thing about owning your own business, you get to choose how things run. if you don't like it than don't use it. problem solved.

  3. Why cant i use the 3 coins i got gifted for christmas to buy things off the marketplace?
Making a long story short, it's so someone can't log your account and gift their account your coins. Anyone who has been around the last 2 or 3 Christmas giftings knows alllllll about how many people got robbed of their gifts, or falsely claimed they did after spending them. It happened a LOT. So, we chose to save ourselves the heartache of the issue and made it so that coins given out at the holiday cannot change into the hands of another player. Which means no gifting, nor purchasing items listed on the marketplace by other players.

If that's a let down for you, then, well, I don't know what to tell you. It's not going to change, though.

  4. well it sucks that noobs who cant keep their accounts secure ruined it for the rest of us. you should have told them qq and they are lucky they just got coins stolen and not their characters deleted. But I guess thse 3 will just go towards another mount

It's not just "noobs." There were also people who would create dozens of accounts (literally), make the minimum donation with all of them, get more coins than what they had donated for, and pool all the gifts into a single account to abuse our generosity. So, coins we give as gifts can only be used in the actual coin shop, nothing that involves them going to another account.

First of all noob means newb,as in a new guy,and as for the rest of us? If you've gone done caught up with the trick when it was still valid, don't tell me you wouldn't be one of the first ones in a long row spamming countless accounts and hoarding coins. The only one QQing here is you.

  7. i see you were one of the noobs who cried when they got their coins stolen. I just wanted to use the coins to buy something off the marketplace but i will just sell some gold and buy something off the store instead.

Actually "noob" is a player who isn't a new player but makes mistakes like a new player, while newb is a new player making mistakes.

  9. I don't understand how anyone can complain about giving away their own password.

Or why would anyone ever give away their password.

Newbie, newb or noob is a slang term for a novice or newcomer, or somebody inexperienced in any profession or activity

Who knows...if it was up to me, I would never help them in any way, I'd just IP ban them.

  12. For real...

Are you complaining? I mean y'all (Staff) are still getting money of those donations. That was just a smart move from someone who wanted to do more coins. Still he was donating in every account he made... I don't see how this affects the server in any way. Because there are thousands of people donating so money is not an issue. Correct me If I'm wrong.

Abusing a system doesn't make you smart, it just means you found a loop hole and abused it. Does using a speed hack make you smart because the anticheat didn't catch it? Of course not. The definition of "smart" is so warped now days that it's depressing. And you must have missed that thread about a lack of funding.

Keylogger. Got my Blizz account hacked because of it after 2 month's, even though I never visited any wierd homepages on the internet or clicked popups (adblock) and has Avast antivirus uppdated with Firewall up. It can happend to anyone and aslong as there's money to be made, hackers will hack, hell even people DDoS this server for the sheer fun out of it.
You would be supprised what they can do.

^this. Stop complaining that you can't turn gifted coins into gold. Do you have any idea how bad you make yourself sound? I've only ever used the marketplace after Moltdown and I don't think I've crippled myself to the point where I'm actually not playing WoW for real if I'm not getting/trading coins, you see what I mean? I never ever cared for coins in the first place, that's why I play on a free server. How is that different for you? Why are you ranting that you can't take advantage and misuse something that's not even a part of the game???

And yeah, back on 3.1 I shared an acc with a friend of mine and it got hacked through a keylogger. Same as the guy above me, had firewall, knew true from fake Blizz emails to the point where I had grown immune to them - still didn't help. Lost the account through battle.net merge and my friend blamed me because the keylogger was on my PC. It just hasn't happened to you, so don't talk and judge like that. It's not something you can control or protect yourself 100% from. It just happens, and then your account is gone.
