WotLK Trauma, is it worth it?

Hi all,
I have just leveled my Druid to 80 and was considering cashing in my VPs on Trauma (normal) for resto spec. I've read things on the forums with people referring to an ICD on the proc though there shouldn't be. Is this still the case? Is trauma any good on death wing?

Yes it apparently has an ICD, although it seems worse on hc version compared to the normal one. So yes, this is still the case.
If you mainly raid 25man, definitely worth it imo, but if you mostly focus on 10man content, archus might be a better way to go.

can tell from experience that it (out of all healer speccs) proccs best for druid
wouldn't recommend it at all for 10m
its okay for 25m in some fights (AE heavy encounters like sindragosa/bq)
for all the others +10m just go with a sp/haste-heavy item (and scepter would be best choice here)

^the above counts only for normalmodes because i assume you're not raiding hardmodes else you'd know your sh*t - no offense

legendary is best..... always has been always will be

scepter is more spell power + easier to hit haste cap

trauma has the proc but he ICD is wrong

archus is for those ***** druids who think spirit on a weapon helps them regen mana because u know lets not use vate or pot for gods sake.

now please child go sit back down and leave the bis list to people who actually know this game and have realm firsts and over 300 H mode boss kills on this server. i shouldent have to flex the epeen but you asked for it. feels good to know things havent changed much

i didn't talk about valanyr at all because its 100% obvious the best weapon choice.
if the TC doesn't know about that, then he shouldn't be playing wow
plus it either takes years to farm or just a big wallet

on top he was asking about what to spend his VP on.
hint: you can't get valanyr for vp n_n




i simply clarified (for the TC) the less obvious question what weapon to pick

which words did i choose that you could ever feel offended
simply agreed on your list and brought a bit more depth and information to the weapon choices concerning encounters and difficulty for the thread's sake
