new here, wondering what class to play

so looking at the armory i have two options to be viable...be a warr with morne...or be a disc priest...what else is there?

You should play the class which you like its gameplay the most, rather than the one which is played by most people. Otherwise, you will get bored easily.
What really matters in the game is skill, rather than the class you are using to get to the top since they are all more or less balanced.

I agree with "zelda" :D. Play what you like both in terms of spec and class / race. Don't play a class / race / spec just because you see someone high in arena in armory. Think of how you are and try to create ... you. Pick the race that fits you most. Pick a name that fits you. I started with a shadow priest and it didn't work for me. After some time i found my name and my race / spec : male gnome aff warlock with a certain haircut. I play it in both pvp and pve.
