question for a GM

I wanted to ask if i can level my new warlock like this:
I got a level80 DK on another account, can i get quests on both my DK+lock and just oneshot all mobs that i need for quests and turn in with my lock, in a party. I wanted to be sure before doing it.

Yeah, you can do it. You can even do it outside the party so you get more xp. Only thing you can't do is kill mobs that are 10 or more levels higher, because there's a bug that gives a lot xp when you do it. You can look up power leveling on the forum, there are few threads about it, with answers from the staff.

Mobs that are +10lvl yours, which means they appear as ??lvl (skull), should not give you any experience. But it's a private server, so they do. But it's an exploit if you level like that, so don't do it.

Basically, leveling in the standard way is a lot more engaging and interesting, so I suggest that you just do that. Unless you're talking about Deathwing/Ragnaros. Then you can just boost yourself via dungeons, pulling the whole place to the start where you left your alt and then AoEing them. That's how I got my priest from 30 to 40 in around half an hour of farming Scarlet Monastery. And I also farmed a boatload of silk cloth, so yeah.

Im talking about lordareon, and leveling by quests was a nightmare for me, im not going to level another character if i cannot do it this way, but i guess it's legit

Get an AoE tanky class at level 80. Start with mob tagging until level 10, get your alt engineering for bombs, then go:

Deadmines > Stockade/Shadowfang Keep > Scarlet Monastery > Zul'Farrak > Blackrock Depth = level 60 in 10-15 hours.

It gets slower after 60, but it is still the fastest method of legit leveling.

Step 1: Pull mobs with the high level
Step 2: Use threatening but non damaging abilities on the mobs
Step 3: Have the low level character used an AoE damaging ability, if you don't have a fast one, use grenades from engineering
Step 4: Have the high level leave the group and kill all the mobs that are now tagged by the low level character
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit!
