No and it certainly is not normal that alterac valley pops 10 times in a row on Lordaeron to finish after 5 minutes because there seems to be a population issue when it comes down to filling up bg's... with a 12k+ population :O

- Queue for rbg.
- when a bg pops up wait around 15 seconds and then use the macro "/who z-"Alterac Valley" 77-83"
- enter the bg only if 0, 40 or 80 player are currently in AV.
- Problem solved.

Alterac Valleys on Lordaeron go like this: 80% never fills up and closes after 5 minutes, 15% gets 20-30 player on every side and 5% of the battles actually fills up.
Tell me why does an Av open up for 12v13 players instead of opening up a wsg/ab/eots/sota, just to get closed after 5 minutes? C'mon that's really strange on a realm with 12.000 players online. It also occurs that when an Av battle is going on with 12v13 fe, a new battleground opens up instead of filling the spots in that av.
This system fails and needs an urgent rework.

Yes it's normal. Yes it's exactly like it was on retail. Yes this is brought up all the time and it has been explained million times why AV pops more than other bgs. Should warmane change it somehow? maybe, who knows.

All I want is the occasional WSG. But nope AV every single time.. which is almost always a complete stomp for one side.

How about Call to Arms at weekend? I have been try it when there is not Isle, Sota or AV, but never get really in BG:s

Not realy that bg gearscore play More than brainscore if ya know what i mean. and What side got more healers + lolstormers and bis hunters win its obviously.
The bgs which req. more team strategy and skills to actualy win is "SOTA, EOTS, or WSG(but not realy since horde always get ganked by 10/15 valar,pokemons,carpe premade agains 2 ppl with 6k ppl.) so much about av..

Yup, it is normal, and if ur horde, start doing ur maths with 600 honor points / bg if u know what i mean. im 53 bgs (lost ofc) left to the full furious set :D !

Understand the fact that horde always lose when Aliance play like 20 v 5 people with 6k, and all others 2k gs brainless people its ofcourse the sure lose. But Look when horde premade like yesterday 10 Warbringers , +4 Peekabboo, + 4 Ohdo cary, and aliance had full premade of Valars, and some Pokemons, and they all left wthen they saw they have literaly no chance agains Might Horde :)

You know guys. we're here discussing this, where are the Devs/Mods/Admins? People are unhappy about the amount of AV's, what you see in this topic is just a fraction of the players who don't like it.
It feels like dealing with a multinational... no answers, hold please. Get what I'm saying?

I believe this is a bug on Lordaeron for sure, not entirely sure about Ragnaros and Deathwing. From what I've heard, bg is chosen according to amount of people queuing, so, if there is large amount, there are higher chances for AV (my favourite bg) to pop, if low - WSG or AB for example...
P.S. I love the amount of AV I'm getting
