How safe is the donation feature?

I would like to make a donation to support the staff but first I would like to know if my card information will be safe considering the fact the website's connection isn't private and secured with HTTPS.

as an alternative option

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately there is no PayPal option in the paying screen (maybe it's a country thing) and I've had some bad experience with Paysafecard.

This is why i would like to know if the standard VISA donation feature is safe and if donors have had any troubles at all.

Anything with the HTTPS (green padlock) is considered safe as your bank details being sent to the server can only be decrypted by the server itself and nobody else.

Donation window is an iframe to Paymentwall https site. Warmane site can not access the information you enter there and the lack of https on Warmane site does not affect donation security.

Donating here is completely safe you have nothing to worry about. Your bank info will in no way be compromised.

Warmane will not see any bank login information through the website. It's a different website that opens up inside this website. The payment provider only tells them "person x is legit and paid up". Then the warmane website will reward you with coins for it.

It's safe, although due to Payment wall and the unregistered/unknown service, it may block your bank account.

I had to call up my bank to confirm my transaction due to the auto lock safety.

We don't work with Paypal for many particular reasons. And yeah you can rest assured that our system is safe. We have a long road without issues.
