Is there just a whole lot more interest from people in Europe? For example, Lordaeron hits 12k users online during majority of EUs prime time hours of gaming. By the time it would be prime gaming hours for North America the server pop almost drop as low as 4k. I try to play during the mornings to capture that feeling I love of being in a busy realm but on top of a massive queue and being busy most mornings I really don't get to play til the evenings when the server is quiet and not much goes on. It is nice for questing but not much else.

I guess so, I know a lot of N. American players that won't touch private servers because they feel it's cheating on Blizzard or risky, I don't know. I've discussed it with some friends and old guild members before, but it just from my experience alone it seems like there's always some cheap cop-out from N. American players.
BTW: I'm N. American. EST and I love it here, I haven't gone back to retail WoW in months and I'm really not sure if I'm going to be playing in Legion or not.

So far I like it as well, I just wish I could play when things are busier but what can you really do? I'll accept whatever I can get. I haven't played retail since WotLK and have no intentions of ever returning. I've accepted pservers as my norm. North American PST here.
