Lordaeron party bug

Hi everyone! I was just wondering if this is only occurring for me. When I am in a party with friends, if we are doing a quest together which requires us to get an item that must be clicked e.g. getting the black feather quill it does not become distributed to the whole party so then we must wait until it has respawned a couple of times just for us to move on. From what I recall this isn't normal and was wondering if this is a bug or a one time situation and we just got unlucky.

Thats not a bug, thats normal.

With most quest items, if you and your friend loot at the same time, both can get the item. The timing can be difficult tho.
