WotLK Lost mail items

Hey,

After the merge i lost my email items.
Somewhere around 400 silk stacks, 2 thorium stacks, fire essence 2 stacks, mithril stacks 2, cobalt stacks 2.5 stacks, truesilver stacks 10.
I don't remember all my listings i had in the AH, but i had 600 listings.
I checked in Tuesday, put my items on sale, and Thursday i had them in my mail.
As i had so many listings, i was unable to save them in my backpack or in my bank.
Please help!!!!!!

it was said before the merge happened to remove all items from mail and ah as they WOULD be lost. you're sol.

Where was it said? I've lost a lot of gold-equivalent items but I've not seen an explicit post about it.
