LF Advice how to Level Up on this Server

Hello folks,

Im new to this server, especially to Servers with a higher XP-Rate and i was wondering what was the most effecient way to level up on such Server. I just started an Hunter and after like 2 Quests im too high for this zone as the Quests are marked Grey/green. So how did you guys level up? Grinding? Or complete a handful quest and move to the next zone?

^this, just do the yellow/orange quests, when you out-level your zone move to the next one

Still theres something clearly broken: u simply CANT put a server 7x exp rate and leave drop rate 1x blizzlike. You don't drop any green until The Nexus, from 1 to 68 its a pain in the a-ss gearing up. Im at level 40 with level 16 gear only because i was boosted at deadmines by an 80, otherwise i would still have level 1 gear, and i'm doing quest. You simply cant level alone. The quests dont give you enough gear, the mobs even less. I don't want to be s-hitty but this clearly force player to donate for istant 80 and then istant gear. Its marketing... Good luck leveling.

Why do you care about gear on a X7 exp server? Do some quests, move to the next zone. Or stay in the current zone till all quests are grey and then move on. Either way you will quickly out-lvevl the zone after a few quests making what gear you have a moot point. I just levelled a hunter with no professions and was still wearing some starter zone gear in by the time I got to Northrend. Guess what? It still was still as quick and painless as some of my characters with heirlooms or professions while levelling.

problem is - quests dont give 7x amount of gold as it was before....some update broke it

THIS! Couldn't agree more with you. Its a PAIN. I am leveling a rogue who is 45 and its very hard to level since you have to eat every single mob you kill, and you have to take them one by one because 2 mobs can easily kill you because the lack of gear. And with 12k players online RDF never pop up.

Also, you could kill some players to buy that gear for honor but gess what? Honor rate is lower than x1. You get -3 each kill. It all depent on the class, hunter rarely need to tank a mob.

There is a point where the gear you have isnt good enough to take down the mobs at your level range.
