I downloaded the Wrath of lich king (New Version), but i'm wondering what to do about the other expansions. Pandora and cataclysm? What will happen if i download them? Or is there one I can download that covers all of them? I'm confused. I would like all the expansions, but not sure if I have to download every file or just one. Please help. Thanks

(old) is original, (new) have wod character details, but this version have lot of bug /only character detail/.

Each expansion has its own client and you can download them all (separately). There is no universal client for all expansion, if thats what you ask.

Ok thanks. I also wonder can I use my toons from wotlk on the newer expansions?

No. They are diferent realms. Look at it as if they were different games.
WotLK (old client) and WotLK(new client) are the same but with different character models, you can play any Wrath of the Lich King realm with any of the WotLK client.
To play Cataclysm you need cataclym client. To play Mist of Pandaria you need MoP client.
