WotLK Holy spells being resisted

Hello,

I'm a holy paladin who uses Hammer of Justice very often and in the beginning I noticed it being RESISTED.... NOT MISSING, but actually resisted. I noticed a few times that this happened on players with Mark of the Wild.


So I'm wondering if it's mark of the wild that actually gives holy resistance (which means its not working properly)

perhaps certain classes have talents that give spell resist. The players werent affected by Sacred Cleansing.

Now I'm being hassled by other players, because I have the Spell Pen cloak enchant and a spell pen gem.... consequently, however, I haven't had my HoJ resisted since I've added spell penetration.

Any pro who can explain what is going on here?

I noticed that the resist mechanics got reworked recently and now its possible to fully resist binary spells.
Im not sure though if it should be possible to resist Hoj.

thanks for your reply. well it was being resisted, i can assure you, i shouldve taken a screen then.. but ok.
im thinking of removing the spell pen to test it again.

So the MotW bug is back again.
(i) You are supposed to be able to fully resist binary spells
(ii) Players are not supposed to be able to resist Holy spells, thus
(iii) Players are not supposed to fully resist binary Holy spells
