This is a problem related to Lordaeron only.

On the other realm it works.

I tried creating a Draenei Shaman (Male) and it gave me error in creating character... while i tried female and it work.

and i tried creating a Draenei Shaman (Male) on blackrock and it worked ??

can anyone diagnose the problem ?

I'm having the same issue with Orcs, I get "error creating character". I can create any other race perfectly fine.

Found the problem apparently its related to the WoD models + Wotlk hair styles.Some hairstyles wont allow you to create your character giving you "error creating character"

I believe it's a clientside problem - I ran into similar issues using the Warmane client on other servers. Try renaming patch-w.mpq in Client/Data and patch-enUS-w.mpq in Client/Data/enUS to patch-w.mpq.bak and patch-enUS-w.mpq.bak, respectively. That should take the Warmane models out of the loading sequence and (hopefully) fix the problem. If you want them back in after character creation, just remove the .bak from the file extension.

Yeah this seems to be the issue. Just change your appearance a bit and you should be able to create a character.

The problem is with the character creator that comes with the game not referencing correctly all the extra options that come with the WoD models. That's not something that we can fix, since it's not on the core, but on the game client you download as far as I'm aware. You still can get those models in-game, with a barber, you just need to pick something else during character creation.

You must to change something like hair, face, etc... it is a problem with the Wod models, or try to play with the Old Lich King to create the character.
