Is the spell travel time working? I've been noticing that i never reflect spells that have been casted and are yet to land on me, as far is i know rogues can vanish coil and other spells but what about reflect? Its next to impossible to reflect an elm mastery lavaburst (you may still reflect it if the shaman has like 2k ms or smth) From what i know it should be like this : Shaman casts Lava Burst, Lava Burst is traveling to its target, halfway through the warrior pops reflect on the yet to land lavaburst and the lavaburst bounces back to the shaman.
What I've noticed is this actually works in your favour. Spell reflect can cancel multiple spell casts now if they land around a similar time frame.
This was always the case, and is unrelated to the OP's question.
@OP, yes spells that are already traveling can not be reflected on warmane's realms (icecrown&lordaeron at least, afaik), this is likely because the server checks for conditions such as spell-reflect (also applies to grounding totem) as the attacker casts, rather than as it is to land on the warrior.
This is what results in things like being death-coiled with SR up.
As a side-note I do play from NA with an average of 100-170ms, if someone with better connection can pull off the mid-flight reflects I'd be interested in seeing them.
Wrong. You could do it on retail, you could ALWAYS do it, ever since vanilla when rogues were vanishing spells.
What Abra said is correct.
No.
Spell reflect aura will only dissipate after a spell hits you and travels back, giving you the chance to reflect multiple spells.
You still never been able to pop reflect just before a spell hits you, And vanishing spells works completely different.
Edit, Also warriors didn't have spell reflect in vanilla.
And incase you wana argue further http://www.wowhead.com/spell=23920/s...ction#comments
"It has to be in effect when the spell is cast AND when it hits you in order to reflect it (most noticeable with Incinerate)."
