I can log into the servers just fine. I am walking around Dalaran and there are no NPCs or other players around. I can chat in /trade and use spells, I even joined a dungeon queue and was teleported, but no other players or NPCs.
I have tried both clients. I'm not sure how to fix this.
I should also note that it has been well over 6 months since I played so I had to re-download tonight.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I just created a new character and everything shows up fine. So maybe it is just my old character that isn't working?

Players and NPCs might appear invisible when antialiasing is forced to 2x or higher through the Catalyst Control Center or NVIDIA Control Panel, the Graphics API is set to DirectX9, and Multisampling is set to 1x in-game on certain graphics cards.
Try resetting your video card setting outside the game back to the factory defaults using the manufacturer's configuration utility or bump up the multisampling value in-game.
You need to clear the wow cache, I don't remember where it is but it's probably has some old data from before you reinstalled.
Mine is in my WoW directory but I think it depends on how you installed it.

I fresh installed last night via Warmane's link using bittorrent. I bought a new hard drive so it can't be from any residual files from a previous install. I'll still poke around in the directory to see if I can find anything.
