I wanted to ask and see if the rest of users (and hopefully some GM) can chime in. Today, I was going to do a DS10, and we went raid over because, lo and behold, the raid leader had a save. Without having raided this week, or the last one, at all. Now, on usual circumstances, I'd simply dismiss this, and assume it had been somebody having forgotten about a save, but I know the guy and he's not a dumbass, and it's also happened to me before. And I mean not having played a character in 2 weeks, logging in and seeing it's saved for some random raid.
question: Morchok Heroic?
if so, this is normal, heroic raids ask for ID when you enter them, not sure this is supposed to be like this but that's how it works here, if you're doing heroic you'll be asked to confirm save even if 0 bosses are dead
if not... then there's something fishy going on... like maybe someone managing to sneak their way down into yorsahj's or zon'ozz's room and somehow engaging/killing them without the drakes being active

Islingr, thanks for the clarification. It is not, however, a matter of a difference between HC and NM. I am aware of the need to accept ID in HC. The specific save that prompted me to create this thread had all bosses killed till WM...
Awaiting more responses from users, hopefully, so I can at least know if it's a common issue, if not how to prevent it.
well, assuming your raid lead isn't lying, there's 2 options:
1. your raid lead did get an ID for an untouched DS with another person, that other person then made a raid that cleared the bosses
2. haven't had this happen in almost 3 years so it might be fixed by now... but in FL I had a person with an ID (that wasn't raid lead) walk into raid first, then everyone following him got prompted for his ID, not the raid lead's fresh one

I see, thanks. It definitely sounds more like the second option.
